Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, where it is held, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). Our products and client platforms carry their own notices.

Who we are

Vizion-AI, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the controller of the personal data described here. Our privacy lead is the Managing Director. For anything about your data, write to privacy@vizion-ai.ae.

What we collect and why

We collect the minimum needed for each purpose below and nothing else.

  • Contact form: your name, e-mail address, company, mobile number (optional) and message. Purpose: to reply to you. Basis: the steps you ask us to take before any contract, and your consent when you submit the form. The details go into our customer relationship system, hosted on our own servers in the UAE, and a copy is e-mailed to our sales mailbox.
  • AI readiness questionnaire: your name, work e-mail, company and your answers. Purpose: to produce your readiness report and follow up with you. The report is generated by an AI model running on our own servers in the UAE; your answers are not sent to any third-party AI service. The report is e-mailed to you and to us, and your details go into our customer relationship system.
  • Website analytics and visitor tracking, only with your consent: Google Analytics (Google may process this outside the UAE) and our own visitor tracking on our server in the UAE. These use cookies. If you decline, neither loads and no such cookie is set.
  • Server logs: your IP address, the pages requested, your browser type and the time. Purpose: running and securing the site. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and safe. Kept for four weeks.
  • Videos are hosted on our own servers. Playing one does not contact YouTube or Google.

Where your data is held

Form submissions, the readiness report and our customer records are held in the United Arab Emirates. The website itself is delivered through the Cloudflare network from a server in the United States, so the server logs described above are held there, encrypted at rest. Google processes analytics data, and our company e-mail for vizion-ai.ae, under its own terms and may do so outside the UAE.

Where data leaves the UAE we rely on encryption in transit and at rest, contracts with the providers concerned, and collecting the minimum in the first place.

Who sees it

Our own team, and the providers that run the services named above: Cloudflare, our hosting providers and Google. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

  • Contact and questionnaire details: for as long as we are in contact with you, then 24 months after the last contact, after which they are deleted.
  • Server logs: four weeks. Analytics: per the retention set in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
  • Backups: a deleted record leaves our backups within 90 days.

Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form; and you can withdraw a consent you gave us at any time. Write to privacy@vizion-ai.ae. We answer within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are the ones you consent to: Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_*) and our visitor tracking (mtc_id and mtc_sid). Your choice itself is remembered in your browser without a cookie. You can change it at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to named accounts with strong authentication, every system is monitored, and our information security management system is run to ISO 27001. Any incident involving personal data is assessed and, where the law requires, reported to the UAE Data Office and to you.

Changes

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
